User has to register to the application by entering Email Id and Pin. This information will be sent to server www.TrackMyPhones.com and will be stored in server securly. User can then login to our website and control the phone remotely. The app does no harmful stuff to your mobile. Remotely one can only vibrate, make calls, Display message, ring siren and get location of mobile.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered by this app and on our website for any particular purpose. Communication between The App and Website
Following are the items which will be collected from your device and sent to server
1. Registered Email id and Pin.
2. Location Information (Latitude and Longitude) only if its requested from server by user.
All the communication exchanges will happen in a human unreadable format. Please note that the server for the website is located in US.
Use of Device Administrator (BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN permission)
If the user enables device administrator privilege for the app, the app will be able to perform the following functions which is not possible without the device administrator privilege for the app
1. When user tries to unlock the device and fails for 3 times consecutively, the app takes a picture of the user using the front facing camera and sends a mail to the device owner with the pic. To detect unlock attempts the app needs device administrator privilege.
2. Change PIN of the device by issuing a command remotely
3. Lock the device instantly
User can enable/disable device admin privilege for the app any time from within the app. The option to enable/disable device admin privilege is provided in the main view of the app itself.
As usual a notification will be displayed while doing any operation in the background
